Our community needs a vision, a common denominator that can be used in all communication to create a uniform brand. With a joint effort of Marshall County organizations and municipalities, a firm was contracted to research our county and present a plan for our future. This research brought us back home to Kentucky Lake... The sheer size, miles of shoreline, expanse of water surface area, the attraction to visitors who live hundreds of miles away… The Lake is too big and important to be ignored. It’s more than a local lake. It is the South’s Great Lake.
Team Kentucky Lake is the non-profit organization formed to create and sustain a solid foundation for brand development, education, implementation and accountability through the cooperation of public and private organizations, businesses and the individuals of our community. Our Vision is for Kentucky Lake, the South’s Great Lake, to become a national destination for tourism and economic development… utilizing its assets and dripping with southern charm it will be the community everyone wants to call home.
